The Quick Trip franchise is a company that is usually abbreviated as QT and it has a chain of numerous convenient stores that are located in the Southern and Mid-western parts of the United States. This company was launched by Burt B. Holmes and Chester Cadieux in the year 1958 in the area of Tulsa that is found in Oklahoma. The thing that makes this company stand out from the rest is the fact that it offers its customers with gasoline that is of high quality with a money back guarantee in the event that you are not satisfied. In the year 2004, this company together with the giant Chevron was the first companies to earn a rating that is commonly referred to as a ‘Top Tier’ from Toyota, Audi, Volkswagen, Honda, BMW and General Motors. The ‘Top Tier’ is usually the standard that is put by the USEPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) with regards to the additives that should be put in gasoline. In addition to this, the Quick Trip franchise also provides its customers with a wide range of gourmet sandwiches, fountain drinks and other grill items as well. All of the stores that are owned by this company usually have the same layout which is as follows: The grocery & candy are to the right hand side of the door, the alcohol & soda are in the coolers, the snacks are displayed to the left, fountain drinks (frozen drinks & coffee), an area for the hot food and the microwaves (to be used for the frozen products). In the year 2007, the Quick Trip franchise opened a convenient store in Kansas City at a place known as Sprint Center but this store only provides the concessions but not gasoline. A few years later in the year 2011, the company also purchased a grocery store that was formerly owned by Dillons which is in Wichita, Kansas. At the present moment, this location is only used as a storage area by the company since it has not yet decided what to do with the convenient store.
