To protect yourself from working from home scams, you should research on anyone or company that offers you a job. Also get referees or testimonials before accepting the offer. You should equally research on any business opportunities that you are offered.
Avoid jobs that promise to make your rich overnight. These offers are made by scammers who are looking for people who may be desperate for some quick money. In most cases, they are never legit.

Apart from medical billing, other working from home scams to be wary of include, jobs to deal with data entry, assembly, multi-level marketing, envelope stuffing or any other job that requires an advance deposit from you.
