Healthy Fast Food Franchise Opportunity

Healthy fast food franchise opportunity The fact that people want healthy fast food franchise opportunity chains is obvious when you consider the new, healthy alternative foods finally being offered by chains like McDonalds. Especially for the kid's meals, this is such a welcome change! And about time! In America, and following suit all over the world, people are gaining weight in record numbers. With the excess poundage comes an increase in weight related diseases like diabetes, heart disease and joint problems. People want healthy fast food franchise opportunity! Why? Because they don't want to give up the extreme convenience of driving up for a quick meal, no dishes to clean, and the kids love to go inside to eat where there is child size playground equipment. It's a habit, especially in the US, that families don't want to give up, no matter what the consequences are. A few years ago, these chains began to take notice of the criticisms heaped upon their offerings. They began with posting charts of comparative calorie and nutrient content, then a few ads for their newer, healthier dishes and snacks. Salad choices appeared on the menus, and deep fried chicken gained a new partner, grilled chicken. Fruit choices are now offered, including apple slices and mandarin orange segments, and meals have milk instead of pop, or juice boxes, and yogurt, plus grilled entrees. A focus on children and healthy meals is on the front burner instead of greasy fried foods and super-sizing. Even the oil the food is fried in has been improved to be healthier. If people want healthy food, they need to stop buying unhealthy items, and purchase healthy choices. But sometimes, that void in the tummy can only be satisfied by again getting the 1400 calorie triple double cheeseburger with fat fried cheese potatoes....until you bite into it and discover the truth about food - once you get used to eating healthy food, your body changes, your mouth and mind realize that, hey, that bad stuff doesn't taste so good after all! It is greasy, upsets your stomach, makes you tired and crabby...and, well, let's gets some fruit and yogurt instead, along with a healthy bun grilled chicken sandwich..... Subway has been ahead of the trend, thanks to spokesperson and super weight loss star Jared, with their ad campaign featuring fat gram counts. A new trend has begun with an organic fast food chain backed by Paul Newman and Michael Nissan, called "The Dressing Room", in Westport, Connecticut. In Hamburg, Germany, the new organic chain-to-be has begun with a restaurant named "Nat." for natural. Is this the future for all healthy fast food franchise opportunity? Probably not, unless the market for fast food swings heavily in that direction and only time will tell.
